WHO WE ARE:
The team, consisting of professionals in communication, educational, archaeological and historical sector, offers cultural events and exhibitions aimed to understand the Sardinian cultural heritage.
WHAT WE DO and WHERE WE OPERATE:
We run the Museum Shop, housed in the Archaeological Museum, which offers a cosy space where it is possible to buy cultural services and quality products made in Sardinia.
For individuals and groups
We offer guided tours at the National Archaeological Museum in various languages and the possibility of historic and artistic tours tailored to meet the needs of visitors who like to learn more about the origins of the city of Cagliari, through small breaks for local food and wine tasting. Upon request we also offer tours of the Southern Sardinia according to the major archaeological itineraries.
We offer specific workshops for schools of all levels, thanks to the professionalism of specialized educators, thus promoting the emotional and educational involvement of young visitors through recreational stages focused on scientific contents.
Educational pathways are also created in accordance with teachers and parents to carry out targeted activities on archaeological and historical themes.
Among the books about Sardinia, prevail texts concerning archaeology, history, art history, popular traditions, Sardinian narrative, maps and multilingual tour guides, in addition to a small editorial section for young people.
Among the handicrafts on display, there are artistic ceramics, silver jewellery and semi-precious stones made by skilled local artists; prehistoric and punic inspired jewellery created by young Sardinian hobbyists; T-shirts with different prints as the bronze statuettes image, some finds exhibits in the museum.
It is possible to buy also well-made reproductions of bronze statuettes, Monte Prama statues and beautiful statuettes of Mother Goddesses. A small section dedicated to textile crafts, which offers handmade bags, tapestries and hand-embroidered linen cloths made using the typical “Bertula” fabrics created in Samugheo. Among the merchandising products it is possible to buy cups, magnets, shopping bags, calendars, diaries, pencils, pens, notebooks.
