Saturday, February 1st, the Museo Archeologico nazionale di Cagliari will organize a virtual archaeological tour in English.
The public, wearing VR headsets, will be able to travel virtually with our guides through important archaeological sites in Sardinia (Su Nuraxi of Barumini, Su Mulinu of Villanovafranca, Sa Sedda ‘e sos Carros of Oliena, and other sites) and to visit, in a virtual reconstructions, the Roman city of Nora.
Through that initiative, the Archaeological Museum will also offer to foreign visitors the great opportunity to virtual travel through Sardinia, coming across the sensation of being outside the structure and experiencing a new “accessible” language with the use of new technologies.
The tour is included in the museum entrance ticket (http://museoarcheocagliari.beniculturali.it/en/visita/orari-e-biglietteria/orari-e-biglietteria/) and will last about 15 minutes.
Places to participate in the guided virtual archaeological tour are limited.
